We have eaten our first chickens (they were yummy!) and today we found our first egg! We are assuming it's a duck egg since it was found lying on the ground and I don't think the chickens will lay for another month. I don't know whether it's viable or not. We're just going to eat this one. Soon we'll buy an incubator and then maybe we'll keep a few eggs but until then...breakfast!
